Our Service Is Digital

SilkName is a web-based, digital-only product. When you complete a paid purchase (e.g., via PayPal), you receive immediate access to the unlocked features or usage. Because the service is delivered electronically and consumed at once, we generally do not offer refunds once that access has been granted.

When a Refund May Be Considered

We may consider a refund only in the following situations:

Refunds are not available simply because you changed your mind, did not use the service after purchase, or were unsatisfied with the AI-generated name suggestions. Our AI output is provided for reference and inspiration only, as stated in our Terms of Service.

Request Timeframe

To be eligible for review, refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the date of the original transaction. Requests received after this period may not be considered, as we are unable to reliably verify or resolve older transactions.

Review and Discretion

All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Whether to grant a refund (and for what amount) is at our sole discretion, subject to this policy and to applicable payment-provider rules. We are not obligated to issue a refund except in cases where we determine that the criteria above are clearly met (e.g., confirmed duplicate payment or verified technical failure on our side). If we approve a refund, it will be processed through the original payment method (e.g., PayPal) in accordance with the provider's processing times.

Chargebacks and Disputes

We ask that you contact us first before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Chargebacks can create unnecessary fees and complexity for a small operation. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues directly; in many cases we can fix technical problems or correct duplicate charges without the need for a dispute. If you file a chargeback without first giving us a reasonable opportunity to assist you, we may suspend or revoke your access to the Service.
